Immense spaces of deep silence traversed by one thousand
trembling movements
with the perfume of brackish water
pulsating
with life
a silence that you can breathe, and almost glimpse,
in the silvery reflections of the waters. The wide open spaces, the
vast pine woods, the countless embankments dividing strips of brackish
water, the many branches of the Po and the sea, all add to the sports
potential of this exclusive fragment of protected nature. Rosolina
Mare is one of the principal towns of "Delta del Po", an
area of extraordinary naturalistic interest. Since the end of the
'50s a notable development began, making the most of the resources
that the environment offers; an idea which, in 1987, merited the town
with an important sign of national recognition: it represented the
province of Rovigo in the exhibition-convention "100 Towns of
little big Italy" held in Rome in order to increase the value
of the initiatives that have contributed to bring Italy among the
most fully developed countries in the world. Rosolina Mare was born
13km from Rosolina, at the end of a panoramic road on the right bank
of the Adige river, and where the hospitality set-up is able to satisfy
all types of tastes: holiday-villages, apartments, accommodations
for families and campings with funny swimming pools, private beaches
and amazing shows for children and for the whole family.
Rosolina Mare is situated between Venice and Ravenna, about 22 km
from Adria, 50 km from Rovigo, 18 km from Chioggia and 65 km from
Padua.
